Crowned as the New NBA Champs!!!

After 24 years, from their first ever NBA game at the dome up to this day, the Toronto Raptors are the new king of the basketball world for 2019.

Game 6 at the Oracle Arena where it is also marked as the last basketball game to be held at this iconic stage before the Warriors moved to San Francisco for the next season. The Toronto Raptors beat the two time back to back champions Golden State Warriors in a dramatic finished for a 114-110 victory.

Hoping to extend the series to game seven, the banged up Warriors fell short at the end of the final buzzer. With the sharp-shooter and ever reliable Klay Thompson exited at the end of the third quarter with an injury to the left knee (torn ACL) not to mentioned the controversial and devastating Kevin Durant Achilles injury on game 5 really puts the depending champs on the ropes. Now, as the newly crowned Raptors celebrate their first ever NBA championship, a lot of people in the hockey country Canada are still in shocked that they get to celebrate with a Larry O’ Brien trophy on their side.
